Dang Gui

Botanical Name - Angelica sinensis                                             
 
Commonly known as dong quai or "women's ginseng", Dang Gui grows at high altitudes in China, Japan, and Korea.
 
Its is traditionally described as Nourishing, Regulating and Moistening and Bensky describes its importance as being due to its:
 
'..harmonious warmth, which is not drying, tonification, which is not cloying, and its gentle invigoration of the Blood, which is not excessive.'
